The Watchkeeper

The Watchkeeper is an iconic and imposing figure sited halfway up the hill at the Royal Naval College at Dartmouth, looking towards the open sea. The Watchkeeper is one of the most important people on a ship, keeping watch through all the hours. In this case, the sculpture is based on a serving officer from the World War II conflict.
