Chichester Cathedral
This was for an proposed exhibition in the cathedral of 26 sculptures from members of the Royal Society of Sculptors. Judy submitted three pieces, the first shows two hands coming together but not touching. It was entitled ‘No Touch But We Pray’ and created during Covid when we could not physically touch, but brought our hands together in prayer for others.

The second sculpture was of a notebook representing the drawings I made during Covid.
SKETCHBOOK
The final piece is called Memories. This shows my hands holding the completed sketch book containing the drawings I made during the Covid period whilst reclining on my bed, represented here by a red velvet cushion.
MEMORIES
Leicester Council
Leicester Council wanted commemorative sculptures to be placed in the area around the council building. The plan was to create a garden area to celebrate Remembrance Day but also to be used all year long by the public. These relief panels show members of the four armed forces: The Army, The Navy, The RAF and The Reserves.
Each of the panels has an arm extending in 3D, encouraging visitors to touch the sculptures, while a strategically placed hammer will be used to ring a bell.
These relief panels would be placed in front of a mural depicting the River Trent.
Chippenham Council
During the 1st World War, the Neeld Hall in Chippenham was used as a billet for soldiers returning from the front, where they could be nursed back to health by civilian nurses who formed part of the Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD).
Judy proposed the commemorative plaque shown below to be displayed as part of a book, showing the VAD nurses, soldiers and inside the Neeld Hall.
In addition, benches featuring life size sculptures of nurses and wounded soldiers would be placed strategically in Chippenham Town Centre, inviting the public to sit alongside these wartime heroes for a while.
